Andrée Jeglertz said that his side are blocking out noise from the media around winning the Barclays Women's Super League.

We host Tottenham Hotspur at the Joie Stadium on Saturday 21 March with kick-off set for 12:00 (UK).

The clash will also be our dedicated annual Community Matchday Takeover as we celebrate the Club’s official Charity, City in the Community.

Spurs currently sit fifth in the WSL, securing a total of 29 points so far as they continue their push for European qualification.

Meanwhile, City sit top of the table with a seven point advantage over second place Chelsea.

In what is also set to be a tough battle between two of the WSL’s most in-form sides, it’s not one to miss as we prepare to host an exciting game with plenty of goals on the cards.

With just five games to go until the curtains fall on the 2025/26 season, Jeglertz was asked if his team were aware of the outside buzz around City going on to win the title.

“So far no distraction I would say,” he began.

“I don’t know how much our players are reading and of course I’m fully aware they are reading stuff.

“They have friends talking to them and saying all different things about what great possibilities we have.

“But inside of our tight group we don’t speak much about it and I have not seen anyone stressed about it.

“So far it’s pretty calm. But we also have to know that this is what we want.

“We can’t be nervous or stressed by this because this is everyone fighting to be able to win the league and now we are in a great position in the league and then handling that pressure in a good way.

“It has to be something that we need to deal with.”

City v Spurs: Last chance to buy tickets!

We’re back in action at the Joie Stadium on Saturday 21 March, when we welcome Tottenham Hotspur for a 12:00 (UK) kick-off.

City sit top of the WSL table with just five matches remaining, boasting a 100% record on home soil, but that’ll be put to the test against the visitors.

Indeed, Spurs still hold faint hopes of European qualification and have lost just once on the road in 2026, even winning their last away fixture in the WSL 7-3 at Aston Villa.

It all points towards another thrilling clash at the Joie Stadium. Seated tickets are available from just £15 for adults and £6 for Under-16s, with standing tickets on sale for just £13 for adults or £5 for Under-16s.

Don’t miss out as City’s push for the WSL title continues!
