Crystal Palace had come into the tie with four points from their past two fixtures, but Park was impressed with how she and her team-mates stuck to our principles to get the job done at Selhurst Park.

“It’s always going to be a hard game coming out here to their stadium and playing against their fans,” she said.
“But I thought our own fans were brilliant and they kept us going throughout.
“I thought as a team we really stuck together and played the City way.
“It showed because we got the three points.”
