Jess Park says she’s relishing every moment of City’s rich vein of form following our 1-0 triumph over Spurs.

The England international set up Yui Hasegawa for the only goal of the game as Gareth Taylor’s side progressed to the Continental Cup semi-finals with a ninth successive victory.

Park’s introduction from the bench into a central role provided the spark City needed to get the better of Leicester in our previous fixture, and she was rewarded with a starting berth in the midfield for our latest win.

Despite normally plying her trade out wide, the youngster has welcomed the challenge of a less familiar position and hopes she can continue making an impact ahead fixtures against Arsenal in the FA Cup and Chelsea in the Barclays Women’s Super League.

“I’m enjoying every moment and learning every single day,” she reflected after our win against Tottenham Hotspur.

“Playing a new position is hard but with the girls around me I feel so confident. I’m really enjoying it.

“It’s always good to get a win under your belt. We’re incredibly confident but we’re going to keep training, keep working hard and hopefully we can win the next two.”
