The industrious midfielder has agreed a two-year contract extension, and will also combine her playing role with a coaching position, joining new Head Coach Gareth Taylor‘s backroom staff.
One of our longest-serving players, the 33-year-old joined City in January 2014 and is now regarded as one of the stalwarts of the women’s game - recognised with an MBE in the 2020 New Year’s Honours List for her services to women’s football.
Ready to embark on a new challenge with the Club, Scott says she is relishing the prospect of ‘soaking up’ the knowledge and experience of those around her in the first step of her coaching journey.

“The coaching role is good,” she declared. “It means I can access the coaches a bit more and drain them for information!
“There’s so much knowledge in the City Football Academy. We get to go to work, play football and speak to so many fantastic people.
“I get to learn from the likes of Gareth Taylor and Alan Mahon and it keeps that going as well as playing.
“My next step in the game will be in the coaching side hopefully.
“I always wanted to stay at the Club. I’ve grown as a player but also a person.”
