Manchester City has agreed a deal with baby gear brand, Joie, to become the Official Stadium Naming Partner of the Academy Stadium.

It makes City the first club in the Barclays Women’s Super League to secure a commercial agreement for its stadium naming rights.

To mark the momentous occasion, our Women’s team cut a ribbon a giant ribbon which had been wrapped around the newly-named stadium.

There have been some unforgettable moments for Gareth Taylor‘s side over the years at our home, including derby victories, last-gasp winners and title triumphs.

Indeed, the team even went the entirety of the 2022/23 season unbeaten on home soil, taking notable scalps in the form of Arsenal and Chelsea along the way.

There are sure to be plenty more thrills and spills over the coming years, as City’s preparations for the new WSL season continue.
