It was a clinical afternoon for City as both Shaw and Kerolin added their names to the scoresheet at the Etihad Stadium.
Our Brazilian international sent us ahead on 13 minutes before Shaw made it two after poking past Hannah Hampton.
Kerolin then went on to add two more and record a hat-trick with a ball over Hampton on the counter, followed by converting Lauren Hemp’s cutback.
Alyssa Thompson clawed one back for the visitors in the 68th minute, but it would only act as a consolation goal, with Vivianne Miedema heading home from a Kerstin Casparij corner to restore our four-goal lead.
The victory saw us go 11 points clear at the top of the table and 12 ahead of the current WSL title holders.
