New City signing Khadija Shaw says she never plays two games the same way – and that could spell trouble for opposition defenders in the FAWSL next season.

The prolific former Bordeaux striker and Jamaica international has an enviable record at club and international level.

With 33 league goals in 31 goals for the French side and 42 in just 30 starts for Jamaica, the 24 year-old is one of world football’s rising stars.

But she admits her unpredictability is also an advantage when it comes to goal-scoring.

“I’m a simple but a very unpredictable player,” she said.

“I can do something today and tomorrow do something completely different.

“If you try to complicate things then the game becomes more complicated. I try to make it as simple as possible and do what I have to do at the end of the day.

“Everyone is different and unique in their own way. For me, as I say, I’m very unpredictable!

“You can’t predict I’ll do something because next day I can do something completely different.

“That’s one thing I always bring and always try to make the best of.”
