The 20-year-old midfielder has added yet more quality to Gareth Taylor’s talented squad, joining City from Aston Villa on a three-and-a-half-year contract.
The England Under-19 international arrives at the Joie Stadium having established herself as one of the Barclays Women’s Super League most promising young talents.
Twice voted as Villa’s Young Player of the Year, Blindkilde Brown says she is hugely excited about the opportunity to learn from the wealth of experience accumulated by many of Taylor’s star-studded squad.

And in her first interview with mancity.com, Laura pointed to the example of how she tapped into City and England icon Jill Scott’s vast experience when she was on loan at Villa in 2022 as the ideal template for how young players can further their development.
“I think [that blend of youth and experience] is really important because the young ones can learn from the older ones,” Blindkilde Brown pointed out.
“It’s just an environment for us to develop and learn from.
“It’s helped me massively in my career, playing alongside all of those experienced players [like Jill Scott at Villa].
“Every day I can learn from them, be in that environment with them and seeing how they are. It’s really helped me.”
