Lauren Hemp says she loves playing for Manchester City after grabbing her 50th strike for the Club.
The winger tapped home from close-range inside five minutes to set the tone for a deserved 2-1 win over Arsenal in the Barclays Women’s Super League.
She was at her brilliant best out wide, as Gareth Taylor‘s side moved up to third at the expense of the Gunners ahead of the international break.
Hemp has now found the net 50 times in 120 City appearances, and described reaching the milestone as a special moment.
She joked: “I’ll take them where I can!
“What a moment to score my 50th, it’s a great feeling.
“I love playing for this club, I have ever since I joined.
“To reach that landmark is special for me, and hopefully long may that continue.”
