Lauren Hemp hailed the role of her England teammates as she grabbed her first international goals in a record-breaking win over Latvia.

The City forward’s four-goal haul helped the Lionesses on their way to a record-breaking 20-0 World Cup qualifying win over Latvia.

It was a truly memorable night for Sarina Wiegman’s side, with Hemp’s City teammate Ellen White becoming England’s leading scorer with a hat-trick at Doncaster’s Keepmoat Stadium.

In total, an incredible nine goals and 12 assists were produced by City players on the night, with White and Hemp joining Georgia Stanway, Jill Scott and Alex Greenwood in getting involved at the sharp end for the Lionesses.

And after a truly memorable night in her career so far, Hemp provided her post-match thoughts in a press conference alongside Manchester United forward Alessia Russo.
