Manchester City winger Lauren Hemp was delighted too help secure qualification for the UEFA Women's Champions League, but insists that attention now turns to our FA Cup final v Chelsea next week.

City headed into our game against Reading knowing that avoiding defeat would secure our ticket into the UEFA Women’s Champions League next season.

Hemp opened the scoring in Berkshire with a well-taken volley before Bunny Shaw doubled our lead before half-time.

Ellen White scored off the bench before a late Alex Greenwood penalty sealed a dominant 4-0 win for Gareth Taylor‘s side, our 13th successive win and with all the momentum heading into next week’s Wembley showpiece against newly-crowned Women’s Super League champions Chelsea.

Hemp reflected on the league campaign saying: “We started off not necessarily how we wanted to, but we have really picked it up on the turn of the year and we are really happy with how we have done.

“We have still got one more trophy that we are going for and we are going to make sure we are going to do everything we can to go and get it.

“We are going to prepare all week to make sure that we are best prepared come the weekend, we are all really excited for it.

“What a great occasion it will be at Wembley and hopefully we can do the fans proud.”
