And, after signing a contract extension with the Club, she says she’s out to prove herself to the Blues’ boss across pre-season.
Jeglertz was announced as our new head coach in July and arrived at the Joie Stadium after his Denmark side exited the European Championships this summer.
He comes with a wealth of experience in domestic and international football which included a Champions League triumph with Umea in 2004.
And for Murphy, she’s relishing his coaching style as preparations ramp up for the 2025/26 campaign.
“I’ve really enjoyed working with him so far in pre-season, he’s so encouraging and I’m really enjoying getting to know him as a manager, it’s really nice to work with him,” she explained.
“Any new manager coming in, you just want to prove yourself. I’m really looking forward to doing that.”
