With the dust now settled on a seismic moment for English football at Wembley last summer, our Lionesses have been looking back on their momentous achievement.

Ten City players from our 2021/22 squad were involved in Sarina Wiegman’s group that lifted the Euro 2022 trophy thanks to a 2-1 win over Germany after extra time.

Of those, Alex Greenwood, Lauren Hemp, Chloe Kelly, Ellie Roebuck and Demi Stokes have all remained part of City’s start to the 2022/23 campaign.

In this video, we hear from Hemp, Kelly and Roebuck as well as club captain Steph Houghton, who battled back from injury to make the long list ahead of the tournament.

Hemp and Kelly were two of England’s key players all summer, featuring in all six matches.

However, it was Kelly’s extra time winner at Wembley that sparked jubilant celebrations on the pitch, in the stands and up and down the country.

Going through some of the outstanding photographs taken throughout the journey to the final, the players reflect on some of the proudest achievements of their careers to date.
