A brief recap of our dramatic late triumph over Liverpool in the Barclays Women's Super League.

City came from behind to pick up all three points at Anfield thanks to a second half Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw brace.

The Jamaican headed home our equaliser from Lauren Hemp‘s cross just before the hour, cancelling out Olivia Smith’s opener in the process.

And Shaw was on hand once again in stoppage time to secure the win, spinning away from Niamh Fahey and firing into the roof of the net.

It was just rewards for City who, after getting back on level terms, dominated on Merseyside.

Shaw struck the post after rounding Rachael Laws from a tight angle, while Lauren Hemp, Mary Fowler and Alex Greenwood also all went close in the final half hour.

But our patience eventually paid off, with City returning to the WSL summit and extending our unbeaten start to the season to seven in the process.
