Watch the best bits from Manchester City’s battling 2-0 win over Hammarby in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

After securing successes over Barcelona and St Polten in our opening two assignments, we welcomed the Swedish outfit to the Joie Stadium looking to extend our 100% start in Europe this term.

Following a goalless first half, Laura Blindkilde Brown broke the deadlock shortly after the interval with her first-ever Champions League goal.

Mary Fowler did well to drive to the touchline before her drilled cross was smartly swept into the bottom corner by the England youth international.

Gareth Taylor’s side were well worth our lead, but Hammarby showed they still packed quality aplenty when Thea Sorbo unleashed a viciously dipping volley towards goal which Ayaka Yamashita excellently tipped onto the bar.

However, Aoba Fujino ensured we collected three points and remained unbeaten this term with a fine diving header in the closing stages.

It also represented our 10th straight success in all competitions as we remained at Group D’s summit.
