The best of the action from an impressive Barclays Women's Super League win.

City extended our winning run to four matches thanks to goals from Vivianne Miedema, Laura Blindkilde Brown and a Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw brace.

The Blues were full value for the victory and roared into a two-goal lead inside 14 minutes at the Joie Stadium.

Miedema opened the scoring just after the ten-minute mark when she headed home Kerstin Casparij’s cross, before Blindkilde Brown double our advantage with a well-taken strike across goal.

MATCH REPORT: CITY 4-1 LONDON CITY LIONESSES

The visitors pulled one back through Nikita Parris soon after and they piled on the pressure in search of an equaliser before the break.

But as the legs tired, City took advantage with Shaw firing home from the spot after the hour mark to restore our two-goal advantage.

The Jamaican then made it four as stoppage time approached with another penalty after being brought down in the area.
