A Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw hat-trick, Julie Blakstad brace and further strikes from Chloe Kelly and Deyna Castellanos secured a convincing triumph at the Academy Stadium.
City cruised into a three-goal lead at the break and were full value for our comprehensive victory over the Blades.
Shaw opened the scoring after tapping into an empty net from Kelly’s cutback, before the winger got in on the act herself for her first goal of the season.

Castellanos added a third before the break with a smart turn and finish, before Shaw doubled her tally for the afternoon soon after the restart.
Blakstad curled home a fifth, before smashing into the roof of the net on 78 minutes.
And the scoring was rounded off when Shaw completed her treble after combining once again with Kelly as stoppage time approached.
