Just 10 days after helping England secure a historic Women’s EURO 2022 title triumph, Chloe Kelly, Lauren Hemp, Keira Walsh, Alex Greenwood, Demi Stokes and Ellie Roebuck were all back at the CFA.
Appropriately enough, the returning Lionesses were greeted by a backdrop of glorious sunshine and brilliant blue skies as the City squad got down to work.
City’s season begins in earnest next Thursday, when we face Kazakh side Tomiris-Turan in the Round One semi-final of the Champions League.
