Manchester City lock horns with Manchester United in our first FA Women’s Super League derby away from home this weekend.
Gareth Taylor’s side face our cross-town rivals at Leigh Sports Village on Saturday afternoon, and we’ll be aiming to ensure Manchester is blue at the end of the eagerly anticipated contest.

Ahead of the game, the women’s first team squad have already set about painting the city our favourite colour as they put the finishing touches on artist Becka Griffin’s illustration of the Manchester skyline.
Whilst exercising their creative talents, the players also shared their thoughts on the game, what it means to them and what it is like to play in.
