We travel to the King Power Stadium for a 15:00 (UK) kick-off on Sunday 27 April in our penultimate away game of the season.
City can still mathematically qualify for the prestigious European competition with a seven-point gap separating us and third-place Manchester United with three games to spare.
Looking to return to winning ways following our 1-1 draw with Everton, City will be hoping to hand the Foxes their first defeat on home soil since November and put pressure on our rivals.
“For me, I think it’s about attacking every game,” began Cushing.
MATCH PREVIEW | LEICESTER V CITY
“We know that Leicester have a fantastic record at the King Power, but it’s no different to Brighton who were unbeaten at home or Chelsea who were unbeaten in the league.
“For us we just have to relish every opportunity. We have a huge opportunity to continue to win. We have got to get back to winning ways following the Everton game.
“The next game is the best opportunity.
“Mathematically, we can make the Champions League so we have to stay focused and continue with the ambition of making sure we get maximum points.
“We know we have to do that to give ourselves the best possible opportunity. That starts with Leicester, we have to win, which means we go into the Manchester United game potentially with an opportunity to close the gap again.
“For us, that’s enough motivation to continue to push.”
