A sneak peek from the upcoming documentary ‘Rise: The Story of our Season’ where we find the truth behind why Step Houghton and Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw wore only one glove in games.

The duo had fantastic seasons at opposite ends of the pitch, playing key roles in our third-place finish in the Barclays Women’s Super League last season.

When Steph and Bunny sat down to film for the documentary, they both chuckled when asked about why they’d been spotted wearing only one glove during matchdays throughout the campaign.

Houghton explained that following a cold night of training, a tradition was born. There was only one pair of gloves available during the gloomy night in Manchester so the city stars shared.
