Scoring in an FA Cup final at Wembley is undoubtedly one of the pinnacles in world football, and one player who has proudly achieved this is Georgia Stanway.

As we celebrate seven years of trophy-laden success upon the anniversary of the Club’s official re-launch in January 2014, the players have been looking back on some of their favourite moments.

In the latest of our week-long series, our energetic forward recalls our FA Cup final victory over Everton in 2020.

Sam Mewis gave City the lead just before half time, however this opener was cancelled out with half-an-hour left to play as Valerie Gauvin levelled for the Toffees.

The game would need extra-time, when City’s desire and drive to win the famous trophy was evident, as goals from Stanway and Janine Beckie gave us a famous victory under the Wembley arch.
