Attendees of the first See It Achieve It event at the City Football Academy were treated to guest appearances from two City stars.
Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw and Demi Stokes were present as girls from local schools and football clubs enjoyed coaching sessions from UEFA A-license on our indoor pitch.
After being put through their paces, the children then had the opportunity to ask our striker and defender questions about their careers to date.
Shortly after, Bunny and Stokes took part in the final match on what proved to be a successful and enjoyable day for all involved.
See It Achieve It’s campaign is designed to inspire the next generation of female footballers who want to play and be involved in the sport.
Launched by the Professional Footballers Association in July 2022, the new initiative is also designed to tackle the lack of diversity in the women’s game.
