A brief look back at City's last gasp League Cup semi-final win over Arsenal.

Mary Fowler’s 95th-minute strike sealed a dramatic but ultimately deserved win at Meadow Park.

The Australian rifled home the opener midway through the first half after being sent through by Vivianne Miedema, but Arsenal responded after the break when Mariona Caldentey fired home from the spot.

City were presented with our own penalty opportunity soon after, but Fowler’s strike was saved by Daphne van Domselaar.

The Blues also struck the woodwork on two occasions in an end to end second half but the game looked destined for extra time.

However, with virtually the last kick of the game, Fowler squirmed an effort beyond van Domselaar to send the travelling City fans into raptures and book our spot in March’s final against Chelsea.
