View the bitesize highlights from City’s deserved 2-1 win over Aston Villa in the Barclays Women’s Super League.

Although the three points wasn’t enough to seal our second-ever title, it rounded off a superb season full of high moments and broken records.

Mary Fowler broke the deadlock with a fantastic volley which she drilled low into the net inside the 25th minute.

Gareth Taylor’s side held our narrow lead into the interval, but the hosts equalised with just over 20 minutes remaining when Rachel Daly drove into the box and colly slotted home against the run of play.

Undeterred by Carla Ward’s side’s goal, we immediately went on the offensive and would’ve restored our lead had it not been for the heroics of Villan’s goalkeeper Anna Leat who thwarted a number of City chances.

Our pressure finally paid dividends though on 77 minutes when Lauren Hemp ghosted into the box and poked a pinpoint cross into the net.

It represented our 18th win of the season as we matched our highest-ever WSL points tally.
