Nick Cushing’s side closed the gap on the WSL top three to four points with a gutsy win at the King Power Stadium.
Leicester, unbeaten on home soil since November, looked likely to extend that record despite sustained City pressure going into the final 20 minutes.

Jess Park had seen a couple of curling efforts fly just wide, with Kerstin Casparij and Lily Murphy also going close as the Blues looked to gain an upper hand.
But the breakthrough finally came from Park when she met a cross on the right of the Leicester box and smashed an effort past Janina Leitzig.
At the other end Khiara Keating made a couple of crucial saves to preserve City’s lead, but the returns of both Alex Greenwood and Lauren Hemp provided the visitors with a major boost.
Cushing’s side had to dig deep, but managed to get over the line and earn a deserved and potentially crucial three points.
