Gareth Taylor’s side welcomed the Hammers to the Joie Stadium looking to extend our unbeaten run in all competitions to five matches at the start of the season.
Thanks to goals from Lauren Hemp and Mary Fowler’s strikes either side of half-time we were able to continue our streak without loss and record back-to-back league wins at home.

Rehanne Skinner’s side started brightly, but it was the hosts who broke the deadlock when the England international coolly slotted into the net after well-worked build-up play.
We continued to push for a second and it arrived during the closing stages when substitute Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw regained possession and chipped the ball to the back post where Fowler headed home.
