The Blues responded well though and came close through Lily Murphy’s drilled effort before our cross-city rivals delivered a body blow just after the 20-minute mark.
Grace Clinton found space in the six-yard area and nodded a curled corner into the back of the net from close range.
Nick Cushing’s side rallied after the break and came close through Yui Hasegawa’s free-kick which struck the bar but it was the visitors who prevailed and advanced into Wembley’s showpiece.
