City travel to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday in the FA Cup with a chance to reach the last-four of the competition.
The tie comes shortly after our 1-0 loss to Chelsea, which came at the end of a superb 15-game unbeaten run stretching back to November 2023.
Taylor is happy to be back in action so soon and says the squad are enjoying a busy period of big matches as we challenge for silverware.
“I’ve always said games in three or four days are always good whether you’ve won or lost,” he said at his prematch news conference.
“People always ask about the international break but it never comes at a good time. You’ve either suffered when you want to play again and if you’ve been fortunate to win, you want another game to keep the continuity going.
“This is great. This is a good period of the season for us and we’re looking forward to the next challenge.
“We were unfortunate last night [against Chelsea] and frustrated to not win a trophy that we’ve put a lot of effort into but we have another opportunity on Sunday.”
The tie at Brisbane Road, which kicks off at 15:00 (UK) will be the fourth time that we have Spurs already this season.
City won home and away in the Women’s Super League as well as winning 1-0 in the Conti Cup last month after Yui Hasegawa’s winner.
Despite that string of results, Taylor says they will be taking nothing for granted in our third game away to Tottenham in the space of six weeks.
“We won’t underestimate anything Tottenham do,” he said. “We will be ready for the what-ifs, they can change.
“But we pretty much know what they’re going to do and they know what we’re going to do but that doesn’t mean it’s easy to stop.
“Of course, we realise that when we get the fine details right then we see what we’ve seen over the last period of time since November.
“When the margins are tight and the details aren’t quite right we get what we did last night and suffer a bit.
“The process is the same, everyone is focused and everyone’s is buying into what we do which is fantastic.
“It’s been a good response from the team. I had no doubts that they’d be frustrated but were ready to attack the next game.”
