Following an illustrious spell as Rosengard’s Sporting Director, the former Sweden international midfielder officially began her position at the Joie Stadium on 1 December.
During her time at Rosengard, she presided over four league titles and four domestic cups during a tenure which spanned between 2015 and 2024.
Now at City, Sjogran will report to Managing Director Charlotte O’Neill and oversee and assist the work of Head Coach Gareth Taylor and the first team technical and recruitment staff.
And, speaking to the Club for the first time, she detailed her aims and objectives with one goal at the forefront – to win.
“We want to win things, that’s the main goal,” she declared.
“One of my passions is of course to build teams, build staff around and to see the end product of it.
“I need to assess a lot of things and get to know everyone. Winning is everything.
“[I’ve had] the experience of winning and losing and all the emotions in-between. When you fail, [it’s important] that you are not afraid to be critical from within because then you can improve in the next season.
“For me to be here now, and the Club has high expectations and goals, it’s for me perfect because I love the pressure. I’d rather be at a place where you feel the pressure than be at a club and you know you can win.
“So, I think I’m at the right place.”
