Watch episode four of our new City studios series following the Club’s five Japanese stars.

The latest episode focuses on the youngest of our quintet, Aemu Oyama, and her January arrival from Waseda University.

An exciting teenage midfielder, Oyama was about to embark on her first overseas experience, with our cameras going behind-the-scenes on her signing day.

The 20-year-old admits the initial adaptation was a daunting prospect, but that having her Japanese team-mates alongside her made that transition easier.

There wasn’t much time for Oyama to acclimatise before she was handed her debut, though, with a substitute appearance following against Aston Villa in the WSL.

City would win 4-2 at Villa Park, with Vivianne Miedema’s stunning effort from distance helping the Blues pick up all three points in the midlands.

It’s a moment that the teenager admits was a dream come true, as she continues to settle into her new surroundings.
