Vicky Losada says she is determined to use her vast experience to help Manchester City’s pursuit of success – and believes the FA Women’s Super League will be perfectly suited to her game.

The Spanish midfielder joined City from Barcelona earlier this week, signing a two-deal.

The 30-year-old will bring with her a wealth of experience from her time at Barca whom she helped win a host of silverware, including the 2021 UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Losada also boasts first-hand knowledge of the English game, having spent two successful years at Arsenal between 2015 and 16 – and says she can’t wait to help play her part in City’s quest for success.

“I think the English game suits me – there are fewer players in Spain with my style,” Losada reflected.

“I think with my experience I can bring new things to City to try to be successful.

“When I went to Arsenal, I was very young – I did not have even half of the experience that I have now.”
