The Dutch international joins the Club from fellow Barclays Women’s Super League side Arsenal, where she’s forged a reputation as one of the finest attackers of her generation.
The English top flight’s record goalscorer and two-time Golden Boot winner, Miedema has also found the net more times than any other player for the Netherlands.
A league title winner in Germany and England, she also helped the Dutch to Euro 2017 glory and was top scorer at the 2020 Olympic Games.
At 27, Miedema still has plenty of years ahead of her to both set some new records and extend her current ones, but she’s already achieved so much in the professional game.
