The best of the action from a frustrating Barclays Women's Super League draw against West Ham United.

City were on course for a hard-earned three points at the Chigwell Construction Stadium after Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw had fired home with ten to play.

The Jamaican, who came on as a second half substitute, met Mary Fowler’s cross in from the left and, after taking a touch across goal, smashed home from close-range.

If either side were to edge a tightly-contested affair in London then it would’ve been City, who had been pushing for the opener before Shaw had found it.

Lily Murphy, who had also gone close in the first half, tested Kinga Szemik from Jill Roord’s cutback around the hour mark before Laura Wienroither smashed an effort against the underside of the bar as we piled on the pressure.

But after gaining the lead, our dogged defensive work was undone in stoppage time by Manuela Pavi, who raced onto a clever reverse pass into the City area and curled into the far corner for a share of the spoils.

The draw means City close the gap on the top three to one point, but have now played one more match than third-placed Arsenal.
