Andrée Jeglertz’s side secured passage into the semi-finals with a superb 5-1 win over the Irons at Chigwell Construction Stadium.

The Blues made a fast start in the capital with quickfire goals from Kerolin and Lauren Hemp, which gave us a two-goal lead inside eight minutes.

But West Ham pulled a goal back through Riko Ueki midway through the first half.

City then weathered a spell of West Ham pressure before Grace Clinton extended our advantage again with a fantastic strike into the top corner from range.

We didn’t look back from that point on, and second-half goals from Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw and Laura Coombs rubber-stamped the success which booked our place into the last-four.
