City took part in an open training session on Friday afternoon ahead of our Barclays Women's Super League opener against West Ham.

The team took the pitches at the City Football Academy to finetune preparations before our trip to the capital.

Gareth Taylor‘s side travel to the Chigwell Construction Stadium on Sunday 1 October.

Kick-off is set for 15:00 (UK) as we set our sights on another tilt at the WSL title.

City claimed an emphatic 6-2 triumph in our most recent encounter against the Hammers, while Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw’s clinical strike proved the difference on our last visit to the Chigwell Construction Stadium.

We come into 2023/24 full of confidence following wins over Bristol City, Liverpool and Everton in pre-season, but know we’ll need to be at our best to start the campaign with three points.
