It's Women's FA Cup Final weekend!

Gareth Taylor‘s City play Chelsea in the 2021/22 season finale showpiece at Wembley on Sunday, looking to write our names onto the trophy for the fourth time.

The two sides meet for the fifth time this season, having already locked horns in the 2021/22 FA Cup, Continental Cup Final and twice in the league.

City triumphed in our last encounter - March’s Conti Cup Final, coming from behind to clinch the trophy with a stunning second half display, thanks to a Caroline Weir brace and a goal from Ellen White.

Ahead of Sunday’s clash, we asked the squad what the learnings from that game were, as Hayley Raso explained.

“It’s a bit of a re-match,” she said. “We’re really looking forward to that. It’s such a big game, playing Chelsea again and we’re all going into that wanting to win.

“We beat Chelsea - we came back after going down and it shows our fight and determination.

“Personally, I’ve played in an FA Cup Final before (against City in 2020). It’s such a huge occasion and amazing to be part of, and I’m looking forward to being a part of that again.

“We know it’s a must-win game. We want to be there at the end of the day, lifting the trophy. Hopefully, we can do that again.”
