It's Women's FA Cup Final weekend!

Gareth Taylor‘s City play Chelsea in the 2021/22 season finale showpiece at Wembley on Sunday, looking to write our names onto the trophy for the fourth time.

Ahead of the clash, we asked the squad what it takes to win a Cup Final. They all agreed that the key is to focus on the task at hand and avoid being swept up by the occasion, as Chloe Kelly explained.

“It’s a case of showing up on the day,” she said. “Don’t play the occasion, just play the game.

“Go into it with confidence but not overconfidence. Just play the game in front of you - not the FA Cup Final.”

January recruit Julie Blakstad, who scored her first goal for the Club in April, agreed: “It’s believing in our play and doing what we’re used to doing - not trying to do something else.

“”We have to go there with our mentality in the right place. It’s a big game but it’s just a game of football: a normal game of 11 players versus 11 players.”
