It's Women's FA Cup Final day!

Gareth Taylor‘s City play Chelsea in the 2021/22 season finale showpiece at Wembley, looking to write our names onto the trophy for the fourth time.

Having last lifted the prestigious cup in 2020, City’s last success in the competition was sadly played behind-closed-doors with fans unable to attend in person.

Ahead of today’s eagerly-awaited clash, we asked our players their thoughts on what it will be like to play in front of packed stands at Wembley once more, with a record attendance anticipated.

Just like the rest of the squad, Alex Greenwood says she cannot wait.

“It’s massive,” she said. “The FA Cup is historic. It’s something I grew up watching. I love that cup and it’s something I’m so happy to be in again.

“I won it when I first came here, which was brilliant, but this time, it will be more special with fans and family there.

“Having a crowd at Wembley Stadium is just that little bit different. It will be a fantastic occasion.”
