Adam Sadler’s men recorded a 4-1 win over Arsenal last time
the teams met back in February, with Joe Nuttall grabbing a hat-trick and City
will be aiming to break a run of three consecutive draws when they travel to London for the return fixture.
It’s been a long time since the under-18s were in
competitive action, although they have been out to Italy to contest a small friendly tournament since the 2-2 draw with Middlesbrough on 23 March.
They also kept their eye in with a friendly against a
Stockport County XI this week and could consider themselves unfortunate to go down 1-0 at
Edgeley Park.
City currently lie in fifth place out of seven in National
Group 2, but with just four points separating top of the league Aston Villa
with sixth place Arsenal, a place in the finals of the Barclays u18 Premier
League is still to play for.
We’ll bring you a match report from this 1pm kick-off at
Colney on mcfc.co.uk on Saturday afternoon.
