City u18s host Stoke on Wednesday afternoon looking for their second win in five days.

The boy Blues travelled to Sunderland on Saturday where they recorded a comfortable 2-0 win over the Black Cats to make it four points from  the opening two games in the Barclays u18 Premier League.

City have scored six goals in 180 minutes of football as part of an exciting attacking start to the campaign.

Manager Jason Wilcox will be hoping his young charges can extend this season’s unbeaten record to three games against a Stoke side who have lost their opening two fixtures.

However, the Blues will be without Jack Byrne, who begins his three-game suspension for a red card on opening day against West Brom, and Tosin Adarabioyo who has joined up with England u17s for the FA International Tournament.

Kick off at Platt Lane (M14 7UU) is at 2pm. We’ll bring you updates on twitter as well as a full match report on mcfc.co.uk.
