Harry Bunn, Jordi Hiwula and George Swan soon learned that every Sunday the students come together to pray, dance and sing in the room.
The travelling party found it to be an incredible experience as a djembe drum came out to set the rhythm for non-stop singing and dancing for 10 minutes.
The City trio were a little apprehensive at first but eventually couldn’t resist getting involved.
There is plenty of wildlife around where the party are staying but not the giraffes and elephants that many would think, however George did get the fright of his life when, on a walk down to the river, he spotted a snake in the long grass.
Needless to say, he ran very quickly the opposite way.
The boys enjoyed some downtime in the afternoon and watched the African Cup of Nations final where Nigeria clinched their first title since 1994.
Monday began with news that one of the players had developed a stomach problem and was too ill to train.
Without naming names, Jordi and Harry finished their rehabilitation sessions and assisted in delivering English and spelling lessons to the children in the school.
On Monday afternoon the boys will continue their rehabilitation with another spot of digging and City TV cameraman Lee Jones will nobly stand in for George.
