City u18s defender Tosin Adarabioyo has been called up to the England u16s squad for the Montaigu Tournament.

Kenny Swain’s Three Lions side will contest four games in six days at the French tournament later this month.

Tosin’s call-up is reward for his good form in the Barclays u18 Premier League where the 15-year old has been a regular in the centre of defence so far this calendar year.

England will be hoping for a repeat of their successful defence of the Victory Shield title in 2012 where Tosin made his debut against Scotland in November.

They kick-off the group stage with a clash with the Netherlands on Tuesday 26 March, then go on to take on Chile two days later before rounding off the group with a mouthwatering meeting with Germany on Saturday 30 March.

Then England will take on one of France, Portugal, Turkey or Japan on Monday 1 April, depending on where they finish in their group.
