City u18s will be looking for a second win on the bounce when they take on Newcastle United on Saturday.

Jason Wilcox’s men put six past Bristol City in a friendly last time out, with Jack Byrne grabbing a brace and Joe Nuttall finding the net in his first game back after injury.

The last league outing two weeks ago ended in a draw with rivals Manchester United, although the young Sky Blues were unlucky not to come away with all three points, a late penalty denying a deserved victory.

Since then, Brandon Barker and Ash Smith-Brown have been shining for England u18s, while Bersant Celina has been away with Norway u17s.
