City u18s travel to Southampton on Saturday aiming for a third league win on the bounce.

Jason Wilcox’s men are up to third in the U18 Premier League after going unbeaten during the month of October, scoring nine and conceding just once.

A draw against Manchester United was followed by a 6-0 thrashing of Newcastle, while goals from Olivier Ntcham and three points against Arsenal last time out.

City did not face the Saints last term, but Southampton have beaten West Brom and earned a creditable draw with Liverpool in their last two matches, so should provide a stern test for Wilcox’s charges.

The Sky Blues will be without midfielder Kean Bryan, who has picked up a minor injury, as well as Jack Byrne and Ash Smith-Brown, who travelled with the EDS squad to play Norwich on Friday night.

Kick off is at 11am and we’ll bring you a match report shortly after full time right here on mcfc.co.uk.
