It has been a landmark year for the Academy, after a record number of players have been called up for the Three Lions at the under-16 age group.
The City youngster made his debut for his country earlier on this year against Northern Ireland, and his consistent performances since then have led to further recognition.
Diallo was a first half sub in England’s first game of the tournament, when they turned in a good performance but went down 3-1 to Spain.
The City player’s own display caught the eye, and he was rewarded with a start in the next match against Denmark. Kenny Swain’s men ran riot and defeated the Danes 4-1, although on another afternoon it might have been more.
Sadou was an unused sub in England’s final match against Belgium.
He is sure to benefit from the challenge of international football at such a young age, as well as getting the chance to play with different players and adjust to a different style of football.
Head of Academy, Mark Allen said earlier in the season: “More than anything, to play for your country is a fantastic experience, so they will take that out of it but it’s also a chance to mix with players from other clubs and perhaps play in a different system.”
Will Patching and Cameron Humphreys were also named in the original squad, but unfortunately had to withdraw through injury.
