Manchester City U18s captain Joel Latibeadiere has called on his teammates to go for the treble after lifting the U18 Premier League North trophy.

Goals from Joe Hardy, Phil Foden and Lorenzo Gonzalez saw City past Middlesbrough as they extended their unbeaten run in this year’s U18 Premier League to 21 matches.

Latibeaudiere isn’t content however, with the FA Youth Cup quarter-final against Aston Villa to come before City find out their fixtures in the national stage of the Premier League.

Speaking after lifting the trophy, City’s captain said: “It feels unreal. To go unbeaten throughout the season and seal that with another good win today, it’s what we’ve been working towards.

“We’re looking to win it all this year. Getting the treble and making some new records is our aim for now.

“Thank you to the fans that came and everyone that has supported us throughout the season. Hopefully we’ll see you at some more games and we can keep playing well for you.”
