City have already sealed the title and guaranteed progress to Group 1 of the national stage ahead of the match against the Reds but the captain has called for focus.
Joel Latibeaudiere said: “We’ve done so well to get this far unbeaten but we have to keep focused for the last game against Liverpool. Once we have played on Saturday our attention will turn to the two big trophies we are still playing for.
Having found the net 70 times in 21 matches so far, Lee Carsley’s side are well known for their prolific nature in front of goal. Striker Joe Hardy has been a key component of that, scoring 11 and assisting five.
He said: “The players that we have and the talent in our ranks has told throughout the season. The way we play creates a lot of chances and it’s up to the likes of me and Lorenzo to put them in the back of the net.”
