Our Academy teams have been drawn in Group D and our opponents will be Liverpool, Southampton and Swansea City.
We will be at home to Southampton on September 28th, then travel to Liverpool on October 26th before playing host to Swansea on November 23rd in our final group game.
Kick-off times for all the group stage games are to be confirmed.
Gareth Taylor’s Under-18s lifted last season’s trophy thanks to a 1-0 win over Middlesbrough in the final back in March.
The Under-18s and Under-16s League Cup format is split into six groups of four teams, with clubs playing each other once in the group stage, either home or away.
The six group winners and the two best runners-up, decided by total points and then goal difference followed by head-to-head record, will advance to the quarter-finals.
Knockout ties are all one-off matches, decided by extra-time if level after 90 minutes and then penalties if required.
