Having only joined the Blues from Ipswich last summer, Knight has enjoyed a memorable first season at the Club.
He has become a key part of Gareth Taylor‘s Under-18s squad who have proved a formidable force in both the FA Youth Cup, where we have secured a home semi-final against West Brom, as well as in the Under-18s Premier League Cup where we will travel to take on Middlesbrough in the final next Thursday.
Still only 16, Knight also says that being part of the squad which has blazed such a successful trail in both cup competitions has helped to further reinforce why he decided to make the move to City.
“Occasions like this are what I joined the club for,” said Knight.
“For my first year here to be in an FA Youth Cup semi-final and a Premier League Under-18 Cup final – you couldn’t ask for much more.

“In the league, the 18s haven’t had a brilliant year but it feels like we have been making up for it in the big Cup competitions.
“I think they have definitely brought the best out of us and everyone works so well together.
“We are all on the same wavelength so that any team we come up against – though we know it’s not going to be easy - we do have the belief that we can produce those moments and score goals.
“That’s important and hopefully we can go on and win both of them.
“We don’t want to finish here. We want to go on and win.”
